Fancy a Pool Cinema, and 26 speakers!

It's not always that a customer walks through the door asking for a Pool Cinema, a Home cinema, and 26 In-ceiling speakers. But when that happens, we know that we have an Audiophile in our store.

If his living room looks like this, then we can confirm that.

Let's call our customer Mr.Audio. So Mr Audio has been a long-time customer of Digital Cinema and when he had plans to build his new home ground up, it was a no-brainer that he came to DC when the house was in the construction phase.

He wanted a pool projector with surround sound to watch the sports with his mates, stereo channel speakers in every room controlled separately, a 7.1 channel sound system in the living room, a multi-zone living space, and a dedicated Home cinema room.

Sounds like a lot? Not to Mr. Audio. Let’s start in the basement and work our way up. In the basement, we have our dedicated home cinema room equipped with a 5.1.2 Atmos Home Cinema system. Being in the basement, to eliminate the echo, a generously layered carpet and acoustic treatment with the Nova Sound Acoustic panels have been installed.

100” Carson Twilight 4K UST Laser LED 100-Inch 16:9 Premium Ambient Light Rejection Zero Edge Fixed Frame Screen is paired with the Optoma CinemaX P2. Lexicon RV6 is powering the 3 Atlantic Technology IW-30 LCR THX Ultra2 In-Wall Speaker and 4 PSB Speakers CustomSound™ CS805’s in the room. Definitive Technology SuperCube 4000 8-Inch Powered Compact is the Subwoofer used.

Now let's head to the individual rooms, there are 5 bedrooms all having stereo PSB Speakers CustomSound™ CS805 8” in-ceiling speakers powered by 5 Bluesound Powernode 2 Integrated Amplifiers.

The ground floor is where the most exciting tech is housed. The main living room has a total of 11 speakers on the ceiling where 4 ceiling speakers are housed in a different zone near the dining. The remaining 7 speakers are connected as 5.1.2 Atmos config for watching ATMOS content in the living room and if they are in the kitchen the surround speakers of the setup will work as a separate stereo system with the TV.

This Covered pool has a separate 5 channel speaker setup with an Elegance Screens Horizon 120 Inch Ultra High Definition In-Ceiling Powered Screen paired with Levico HD5000 WUXGA Full HD 3LCD Projector housed in a Vogels PPL 2170 Projector Lift System. The 5 PSB Speakers CustomSound™ CS805 Architectural 8-Inch In-ceiling Speakers are powered by Marantz NR1711 8K 7.2 Channel Slimline AV Receiver.

Both the screen and projector sit on level with the gyprock when they are not in use and they both have remote-activated lifts to bring it down when needed.
