JL Audio Gotham V2 G213v2 13.5 Inch Subwoofer is beautifully designed, has the exceptional build quality and truly great audio. Its devastating combination of extension, accuracy and power unleashes your main speakers to do what they do best, transforming your listening experience in profound ways.

The Gotham® v2’s massive fibreglass-composite enclosure is built in our Miramar, Florida factory from its skeletal bracing outward. The construction process takes place over several days, in which multiple, closely guarded steps are followed to create an acoustically inert structure. Each Gotham® v2 is then hand-finished in luxurious gloss black, complemented by machined accents and a cleverly engineered grille system designed for cosmetic flexibility.

Digital Automatic Room Optimization (D.A.R.O.)

JL Audio's exclusive D.A.R.O. technology uses a powerful on-board DSP to automatically optimize the subwoofer's in-room frequency response. This leads to a superb listening experience, no matter where the subwoofer is placed.

Dynamic Motor Analysis - DMA Optimized Motor

JL Audio's proprietary Dynamic Motor Analysis system is a powerful suite of FEA-based modelling systems, first developed by JL Audio in 1997 and refined over the years to scientifically address the issue of speaker motor linearity. This leads to vastly reduced distortion and faithfully reproduced transients... or put simply: tight, clean, articulate bass.

W-Cone

The W-Cone is a unit-body cone assembly that delivers astonishing cone stiffness with minimal mass. The shape also provides superb torsional rigidity, which is critical to maintaining voice coil alignment at the suspension limits.

Elevated Frame Cooling

JL Audio's patented Elevated Frame Cooling design delivers cool air through slots directly above the top plate to the voice coil of the speaker. This not only enhances power handling but also sound quality by minimizing dynamic parameter shifts and power compression.

Floating Cone Attach Method - FCAM™

This assembly technique, conceived by JL Audio, ensures proper surround geometry in the assembled speaker for better excursion control and dynamic voice coil alignment.

OverRoll™ Surround

By utilizing space wasted in conventional speakers, this ground-breaking innovation controls the W7's massive excursion without sacrificing precious cone area.

Radially Cross-Drilled Pole-Piece

This innovative venting system greatly enhances thermal dissipation and power handling by directing air flow onto the voice coil former, working in conjunction with the Elevated Frame cooling technology to effectively remove heat from the voice coil. This improves power handling and reduces power compression effects, leading to more linear performance.

Engineered Lead-Wire System (U.S. Patent #7,356,157)

Carefully engineered lead-wire design and attachments ensure controlled, quiet lead-wire behaviour under the most extreme excursion demands.

High-Damping Feedback Circuitry

Change of Mind

Please choose carefully as refunds for change of mind would only be accepted with a restocking fee subject to approval. We recommend you carefully choose any products before adding them to your cart and continuing with your order. The restocking fee is 25% if approved.

Goods Damaged in Transit

If any products are delivered damaged, please contact our Customer service Staff as soon as possible. Digital Cinema will organise to have your products returned to Digital Cinema and to arrange for a replacement of your products fast. Damaged products need to be returned in the same condition received by you with all original packaging, accessories and manuals.

Delivery Charges

Digital Cinema will refund all delivery charges in the event an item has to be returned due to a fault or damage and no replacement items can be found. Delivery refund will only be approved within 14 days of purchase and all original packaging, accessories and manuals are included.

Please note that if you choose to cancel an online order before it has been dispatched and a request for refund is approved, a 1.4% fee will be applied to your refund amount. This fee covers charges that we are unable to recover from the Visa and Mastercard networks.
